Waiting on my V2 - last night, my current email provider had a catastrophic failure that required a hardware fix and restore from backup.

That got me thinking - in the event of a Helm hardware failure, how do we receive email; and how do we recover?

There is not a great solution here. You’d have to get another helm and restore from backup. Many hours of downtime would occur.

Emails will not be delivered while your Helm is down - instead sending servers will queue them for several days before bouncing them back to the sender. In that window, you can request a replacement to be overnighted to you. To get back online, you would restore from backup. To minimize the interruption, you can order a spare server as well.
